NASA Visualization Explorer App Reviews

From what I can see, this application seems to be the best of its kind. The information pertaining to astronomical exploration easily surpassed my expectations in quantity, as well as quality. Not only are the given stories organized, but they are aesthetically pleasing, and greatly intriguing as well. This app is definitely a great utility for the common space enthusiast, and I would undoubtedly recommend its use for both informative and leisurely purposes.

The latest version 1.9.10 doesnt run on older iPads and iPhones and yet is offered as an upgrade that you cant install. You are stuck with an upgrade sitting in the App Store. If we cant install it why is it offered as an upgrade?

video playback has a bug, almost any video that I was trying to watch finished up with quicktime icon instead of the video. however the sound continued. for such bug I rated 3.

App Store shows update available, but shows error: "device not supported"

I love the idea of this app and what it is for, but the crashes are a bit frustrating. Im using an iPhone SE with iOS 10. Hope you guys can get this fixed. The crash occurs while in the app settings menu.

I have used this app for years. It has been fantastic. For the first time ever, updated stories stopped a couple months ago.

This was a great app, but they stopped posting months ago. Im guessing everything is on the plain "NASA" app, but Im not sure. Im somewhat frustrated that they never informed me about whatever transition they made.

I great app but no longer supports iPad 2 which leaves the perpetual update notification on the App Store icon. Needs a fix from Apple to remove unusable update notifications.

...where only the newest devices can go. Latest update is incompatible with my iPad 3, so its either bye-bye NASA or stuck with the perpetual "Big Red 1" on the App Store icon. Unfortunately, I cant get government funding to obtain the best technology.

NASA stopped supporting content for this app in the middle of October 2016. To bad. It was a fine app. NASA should take it off the Store.

App Store reports this is incompatible with my iPhone 5, immediately after I updated to iOS 10.2.

Newest update will not install on iPad 4 running iOS 9.3.2 Update: Thanks to newer update, iPad 4 is supported again. Thanks!

UPDATE: NASA promptly read the problems users had with not being able to update this app. They fixed the compatibility issue, and the app now updates as expected in iOS10. Thank you! OLD REVIEW: Will not update if iOS10 is installed. When trying to apply latest update, app says its not compatible. A shame and very sad. Wont recommend app, and will be uninstalling it.
